Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and bakery production charts
- Ability to work standing and moving for extended periods
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds frequently
- Ability to lift and move heavier items with assistance
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts
- Willingness to work in temperature-extreme environments including freezers and ovens
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answers questions and recommends bakery items
- Answers member calls and takes special orders
- Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods following product handling information using ovens and equipment
- Uses bakery production charts to guide production and display needs
- Packages freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes
- Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts
- Decorates special order or case products
- Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety and freshness policies
- Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments
- Checks for out-of-date products daily and follows salvage and stale product procedures
- Generates labels and price tickets, performs price checks to ensure accurate pricing
- Cleans and sanitizes bakery equipment and food surfaces
- Operates bakery equipment using proper safety methods
- Maintains all club policies and procedures
- Performs other duties including cross-departmental work as required
- Maintains regular predictable full attendance
