Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- ability to follow product handling and safety procedures
- capability to operate bakery equipment safely
- good communication skills to interact with members
- ability to work as part of a team
- physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and assist with heavier items

- commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- knowledge of bakery products preferred
- at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- answer member calls and take special orders
- proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods using ovens and other equipment
- use bakery production charts as a guide for production and display needs
- gather products to be prepared for the next business day
- package freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, cakes, and other items
- unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on production chart recommendations
- decorate special order or case product
- rotate and store bakery products following proper food safety, freshness, and product handling policies
- receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- ensure all products are fresh and meet company quality standards
- check for out-of-date products daily and follow salvage and stale product policies
- generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods and perform price check functions
- clean and sanitize bakery equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- operate bakery equipment following safety policies
- maintain all club policies and procedures
- perform other duties including working in other departments as needed
- maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
