Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds frequently
- Ability to occasionally lift heavier objects with assistance
- Comfortable working indoors in temperature extremes from freezers and ovens
- Ability to bend, pull, reach, push, and stoop as needed
- Willingness to maintain a friendly and positive attitude
- Adherence to safety and food handling regulations
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- Answer member calls and take special orders
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods using ovens and other equipment
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes
- Decorate special order or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety and freshness policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Check for out-of-date products and follow salvage policies
- Generate labels and price tickets and perform price checks
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- Operate bakery equipment safely
- Maintain club policies and procedures
- Work in other departments as needed
- Maintain regular, predictable full attendance
