Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- ability to proof and bake bakery goods following specific product handling instructions
- capability to operate bakery equipment safely
- ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- ability to communicate effectively with members
- physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and move heavy or awkward objects with assistance
- willingness to maintain regular and predictable attendance
- adherence to company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- knowledge of bakery products preferred
- at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- answer member calls and take special orders
- proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods following product handling instructions
- use bakery production charts as a guide for production and display needs
- gather products for the next business day
- package freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes
- unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts
- decorate special order or case products
- rotate and store bakery products following food safety, freshness, and product handling policies
- receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- ensure all products meet company quality standards and check for out-of-date products
- generate labels and price tickets
- clean and sanitize bakery equipment and food surfaces
- operate bakery equipment safely
- maintain club policies and procedures
- perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- maintain regular and predictable full attendance
