Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to proof and bake bakery goods following detailed instructions
- Capability to unpack, display, and package bakery products
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety within the bakery
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Capability to lift objects up to 30 pounds and occasionally heavier with assistance
- Willingness to work in temperature-varied environments including freezers and ovens
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling instructions
- Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts per production charts
- Maintain cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department
- Answer member questions and recommend bakery items
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes
- Decorate special order or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety and freshness policies
