Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to frequently lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally heavier with assistance
- Ability to bend, reach, push, and stoop as needed
- Willingness to work in temperature-controlled environments including freezers and ovens
- Availability for full-time work with regular and predictable attendance
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Basic reading and comprehension skills
- Reliable and responsible work ethic
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Strong communication and member service skills
- Ability to maintain a friendly and positive attitude
- Capable of following detailed instructions and bakery production charts
Job Duties
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information using ovens and other equipment
- Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on bakery production charts
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items
- Decorate special order or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety and product handling policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods and perform price checks
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- Operate bakery equipment using proper work methods
- Maintain all club policies and procedures
- Deliver service excellence through all points of contact
- Resolve and deescalate member concerns
- Ensure a safe and positive environment for members and team
- Perform other duties as assigned including work in other departments
- Maintain regular, predictable attendance
