Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to move about non hard surfaces and occasionally bend, handle, pull, reach, push, or stoop
- Ability to frequently lift objects up to 30 pounds and occasionally with assistance, heavier items
- Comfortable working in indoor environments with exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and coolers
- Willingness to work in environments with frequent exposure to cleaning agents
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- Answer member calls and take special orders
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods following product handling information
- Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on production charts
- Package freshly baked goods such as cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, and cakes
- Decorate special orders or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety and freshness standards
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Check for out-of-date products and follow salvage and stale product policies
- Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods and perform price checks
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- Operate bakery equipment safely according to policies
- Maintain all club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
