Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to follow baking procedures and food safety standards
- Capability to operate bakery equipment safely
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently
- Availability for regular, predictable attendance
- Willingness to work in varying temperature conditions including freezers and ovens
Job Qualifications
- Experience in bakery or customer service environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods following product handling information
- Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts based on production charts
- Packages freshly baked items including cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes
- Decorates special order or case product
- Rotates and stores bakery products adhering to food safety and freshness policies
- Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments maintaining quality standards
- Cleans and sanitizes bakery equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- Operates bakery equipment using proper safety methods
- Answers member questions and takes special orders
- Generates labels and price tickets
- Ensures accurate pricing of bakery items
- Maintains adherence to club policies and safety standards
- Performs additional duties as assigned including working in other departments
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance
