Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 30 pounds frequently
- Ability to work in indoor environments with exposure to temperature extremes
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
- Ability to follow detailed baking and handling instructions
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answers questions and recommends bakery items
- Answers Member calls and takes special orders
- Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information
- Packages freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items
- Decorates special order or case products
- Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety and freshness policies
- Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments
- Ensures all products meet company quality standards and checks for out-of-date products
- Generates labels and price tickets for bakery goods and performs price check functions
- Cleans and sanitizes equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- Operates bakery equipment using proper safety methods
- Maintains club policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- Maintains regular, predictable, full attendance as an essential function of the job
