Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds frequently
- Ability to occasionally lift and move heavy or awkward objects with assistance
- Ability to work in a comfortable indoor environment with exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and coolers
- Ability to handle cleaning agents safely
- Regular, predictable full attendance
- Ability to bend, handle, pull, reach, push, and stoop as needed
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling instructions
- Use bakery production charts to guide production and display
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, and cakes
- Decorate special orders and case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety and freshness guidelines
- Receive, inspect and store bakery shipments
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and check for out-of-date items daily
- Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods and perform price checks
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, display fixtures, ovens, utensils, and food surfaces
- Operate bakery equipment safely using proper work methods
- Maintain all club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
