Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- ability to follow product handling instructions and safety procedures
- ability to work in fast-paced bakery environment
- ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds regularly and heavy or awkward objects with assistance
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- ability to work collaboratively in a team
- strong communication skills
- flexible availability to meet scheduling needs
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- knowledge of bakery products preferred
- at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- answer member calls and take special orders
- proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling instructions using ovens and equipment
- unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on production charts
- package freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes
- decorate special orders or case products
- rotate and store bakery products following food safety and freshness policies
- receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- ensure all products meet company quality standards
- check for out-of-date products and follow salvage procedures
- generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods and perform price checks
- clean and sanitize bakery equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- operate bakery equipment safely
- maintain club policies and procedures
- perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- maintain regular and predictable full attendance
