Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- ability to follow detailed baking and safety procedures
- capability to lift and move objects up to 30 pounds frequently
- willingness to work in environments with temperature extremes such as freezers and ovens
- ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- good communication skills to interact with members
- reliable and punctual attendance
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- knowledge of bakery products preferred
- at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information
- unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on production charts
- maintain cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department
- answer member questions and take special orders
- package freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes
- decorate special orders or case products
- rotate and store bakery products following food safety and freshness policies
- receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- check for out-of-date products and follow salvage policies
- generate labels and price tickets, ensuring accurate pricing
- clean and sanitize bakery equipment and surfaces
- operate bakery equipment safely
- maintain all club policies and procedures
- perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- maintain regular, predictable full attendance
