Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to proof and bake bakery goods following safety standards
- Capable of packaging and decorating bakery items
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and heavier items with assistance
- Willingness to work in an indoor environment with temperature extremes
- Ability to maintain regular attendance
- Strong communication and member service skills
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answers questions and recommends bakery items
- Answers member calls and takes special orders
- Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling info using ovens and/or other equipment
- Packages freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes
- Decorates special order or case products
- Rotates and stores bakery products following proper food safety and product handling procedures
- Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments
- Ensures all products are fresh and meet company quality standards
- Generates labels and price tickets and performs price check functions
- Cleans and sanitizes bakery equipment, display fixtures and food surfaces
- Operates bakery equipment safely
- Maintains all club policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed
- Maintains regular and predictable full attendance
