Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds frequently
- Ability to work in indoor environments with temperature extremes such as freezers and ovens
- Ability to move about non-hard surfaces and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, pushing, and stooping
- Willingness to follow food safety and product handling procedures
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
- Ability to maintain a friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment
- Desire to deliver excellent member service
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- Answer member calls and take special orders
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information and using ovens or other equipment
- Use bakery production charts for production and display needs
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, cakes, and other items as needed
- Decorate special order or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety and product handling policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Ensure all products are fresh and meet company quality standards
- Check for out-of-date products daily and follow salvage and stale product procedures
- Generate labels and price tickets and perform price check functions
- Clean and sanitize equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- Operate bakery equipment safely
- Maintain all club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
