Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to follow bakery production charts and product handling instructions
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and assist with heavier items
- Willingness to work near temperature extremes such as freezers and ovens
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety guidelines
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- At least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling guidelines
- Unpacks frozen bakery goods and displays appropriate amounts based on production charts
- Packages freshly baked items including cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes
- Decorates special order bakery products and case items
- Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety and freshness policies
- Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments
- Cleans and sanitizes bakery equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- Operates bakery equipment safely and maintains compliance with company policies
- Answers member questions and handles special orders
- Ensures all products meet quality standards and checks for out-of-date items
- Generates labels and price tickets and performs price checks
- Performs other duties as assigned and supports other departments as needed
- Maintains regular and predictable full attendance
