Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic kitchen skills
- Familiarity with food preparation in a bakery setting
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout shifts
- Commitment to safe food handling practices
Job Qualifications

- Basic kitchen skills familiar with food preparation in a bakery department
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Job Duties
- Mix and measure ingredients to form dough or batter for recipes
- Roll, cut, and shape dough to form rolls, pie crusts, tarts, cookies, and related bakery products
- Cut, peel, and prepare fruit for pie fillings, baking cakes, and preparing icing
- Train assistants and maintain cleanliness of the bakery
- Maintain records of customer orders
- Provide quality customer service and take cake orders
- Ensure cleaning supplies are stored separately
- Ensure cooler and freezer temperatures are correct and maintained
- Rotate merchandise in accordance with labels and maintain department plan-o-grams and schematics
