Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age or older
must be available to work two 6 plus hour shifts per week
basic math skills are required
willing to work Saturdays and Holidays as needed
able to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, and training materials
demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills
ability to multi-task, set priorities, present information professionally and work with all organizational levels
ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with willingness to help all department members
possess abilities and skills for effective production, merchandising, and customer service
must be able to work with various cleaning solutions, safely use sharp tools, and carefully operate production equipment
on feet up to 6 hours per day
dexterity to twist, squat, bend, push, reach, and pull
frequently lift 1 to 15 pounds
occasionally lift 20 to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old
basic math skills
effective written and verbal communication skills
ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
experience in food preparation or related positions preferred
customer service experience preferred
knowledge of employment, safety, and food handling laws and regulations preferred
ability to multi-task and set priorities
professionalism in customer and associate interactions

Job Duties

Greet and wait on customers promptly and cheerfully
bake and prepare products for sale
be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions
effectively communicate with customers and associates
record detailed common and custom orders using order tracking software
adhere to Gigi’s Cupcakes policies and procedures and State and Federal laws
operate POS system according to company procedures
unload and store merchandise, prepare and display products according to company standards and food safety policies
perform required temperature monitoring
monitor product quality ensuring freshness and safety
maintain proper signage, product rotation, and quantity
assist with special projects such as inventories, store resets, remodels, merchandising promotions, and events
keep sales areas, kitchen, and coolers clean and organized
maintain carts, tools, equipment, and supplies in designated areas
keep floors clean, safe, and free from clutter
wash and sanitize bakeware and utensils following health policies
