Job Requirements

Ability to work at fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner
ability to perform all physical aspects of position including standing, bending, lifting, and walking
ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs and push and pull up to 100 lbs
ability to work within a freezer for up to 15 minutes
ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
must be flexible to work various hours and shifts including weekends and holidays
attend meetings and training sessions when called upon
must maintain a current food safety certification
ability to function as a team member and get along with others

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous retail or customer service experience beneficial
knowledge of bakery products and food safety practices
effective communication and interpersonal skills
ability to follow instructions accurately
team player with positive attitude
willingness to learn and adapt to varying tasks and shifts
current food safety certification preferred

Job Duties

Acknowledge, greet, and engage guests upon entering the bakery area
exceed guests' expectations for service and build a reputation for ultimate service
be attentive to guest needs and ready to serve or direct guests
walk department displays every 2 hours to ensure cleanliness, merchandise, signage, and proper lighting
ensure packing guidelines are followed
maintain product quality and rotation
demo and sell products as permitted or directed by management
complete daily duties accurately and timely
follow all company policies and procedures
accurately write and follow special order instructions to meet guest expectations
assist in break-out and dishwashing as needed
practice safe work habits and maintain store cleanliness and organization
ensure adherence to all food safety procedures
assist in training new team members
perform other related duties as requested by management
