Job Requirements
- Must be aged 16-17
- Food Handler Card or equivalent certification required
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and product labels
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information effectively in small group settings
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds occasionally
- Must work under direct supervision
- Previous retail or bakery experience is a plus but not required
Job Qualifications
- Basic reading and comprehension skills

- Effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow detailed but simple instructions
- Physical ability to lift frequently up to 45 pounds
- Basic PC and Outlook skills preferred
- Retail management certificate preferred
Job Duties
- Assist customers with bakery purchases
- Take special orders from customers
- Clean shelving and display cases in the bakery
- Fill and rotate self-serve bakery displays
- Work with the Baker to identify items needing baking or decoration
- Clean bakery department floors with soap and water
- Provide friendly and courteous customer service in the bakery department
