Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years bakery experience or acceptable combination of education and experience
- Dependable and reliable with flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Outgoing and friendly behavior with positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- Able to answer phones and take special orders
- Perform general housekeeping and sanitize work area
- Able to operate knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Able to stand for up to 3 hours continuously for 8 hours per shift
- Ability to transfer trays up to 5 lbs vertically and items up to 40 lbs vertically and horizontally
- Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- Maintain and achieve Food Handlers permit
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years bakery experience or equivalent education and experience
- Be dependable and reliable
- Have good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- Ability to operate bakery equipment such as knives, scales, and compactors
- Ability to stand up to 3 hours continuously
- Ability to transfer trays and items up to 40 lbs without mechanical assistance
- Have a Food Handlers permit or ability to obtain one
Job Duties
- Prepare, bake, package, price, and merchandise all baked goods
- Provide high level of customer service
- Ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment
- Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy
- Examine rotation of bakery products and discard outdated items
- Receive, inspect, and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature, and quality
