Job Requirements

- Food Handler certification required
- Ability to safely operate bakery tools and equipment
- Ability to learn new systems and processes
- Ability to use hand tools
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Attention to workplace safety
- Must report hazards promptly

Job Duties
- Package bakery products
- Label bakery products
- Price bakery products
- Monitor stock levels
- Maintain product quality by checking dates, appearance, and storage temperature
- Assist bakery personnel with preparing and packaging
- Maintain product displays
- Promote product sales through suggestive selling
- Stack pallets and sort products correctly
- Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary environment
- Greet customers and answer questions
- Take customer orders by phone and in person
