Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Less than high school education or equivalent experience
- Six months or less of related work experience
- Ability to follow detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
- Ability to perform simple addition and subtraction
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Must be able to carry out physical activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions
- Must adhere to company hygiene and dress guidelines
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
Job Qualifications

- Ability to perform basic math like addition and subtraction
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- Makes an effort to learn customers’ names and address them personally
- Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing items out of reach, loading or unloading heavy objects, and passing along customer requests
- Reviews the status and appearance of food for freshness
- Reviews orders for the day
- Takes customer orders at the bakery counter
- Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and pleasant work environment
- Practices proper sanitation procedures and maintains clean work area
- Ensures adequate food supply and follows production list
- Anticipates daily product needs
- Prepares, finishes, and replenishes bakery products
- Pulls product from cooler/freezer for baking
- Checks in and stores product
- Runs department registers and handles transactions
- Removes trash timely
- Maintains adherence to hygiene and dress standards
- Adheres to company policies and reports to work on time
