Job Requirements
- less than high school education or equivalent experience
- six months or less of similar or related work experience
- ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
- ability to do simple addition and subtraction
- ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- must be able to physically perform medium work exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly
- must have the ability to perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- visual clarity for distances more than 20 inches and less than 20 feet with or without correction
- must adhere to company personal hygiene and dress standards
- employment contingent upon successful pre-employment drug screen

Job Duties
- provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers' names
- assists customers by escorting them to products, securing products out of reach, loading or unloading heavy items, passing along customer suggestions
- reviews the status and appearance of food for freshness
- reviews daily orders
- takes customer orders at the bakery counter
- works with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction
- practices proper sanitation procedures
- ensures work area is clean and neat
- prepares, finishes and replenishes bakery products
- pulls product from cooler/freezer for baking
- checks in product and puts it away
- runs the department registers and handles payments
- removes trash in a timely manner
- maintains adherence to hygiene and dress guidelines
- adheres to company policies
- reports to work on time
