  • Ability to bend, kneel, and stand or walk for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Provide information about products, such as ingredients, flavors, and pricing
  • Handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally
  • Prepare bakery items such as bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies according to recipes and guidelines
  • Package and label bakery items appropriately
  • Ensure freshness and quality of all bakery products
  • Stock shelves and display cases
  • Rotate products to ensure freshness
  • Monitor inventory levels and inform management of low stock items
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including countertops, equipment, and display cases
  • Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling practices are followed
  • Collaborate with bakery team members to ensure efficient operation of the bakery
  • Support colleagues during busy periods or special events
