Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- compliance with corporate and state sanitation regulations
- physical ability to lift up to 100lbs occasionally and up to 50lbs constantly
- capability to stand, walk, push, pull and pivot for 5-8 hours
- good manual dexterity for grasping and finger movement
- ability to work in hot and cold environments for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 18 years of age
- familiarity with state and corporate safety standards
- experience in baking or food preparation preferred but not required
- ability to operate bakery equipment
- good customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Job Duties
- assist with the bakery operation within the retail store environment to include preparation, baking, merchandising and final presentation of all bakery products
- consistently provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times
- maintain a neat, clean and organized work station according to 5S standards at all times
- assist or create customer special orders including cake orders
- operate bakery department equipment including ovens, mixers, and utensils
- adhere to all corporate and state sanitation regulations in keeping a neat and clean work station
- control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures
