Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years of bakery experience or equivalent education and experience
- Be dependable and reliable
- Able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Have outgoing and friendly behavior
- Possess good communication skills
- Able to answer phones and take special orders
- Perform general housekeeping and sanitation
- Operate bakery equipment
- Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Adhere to safety and health regulations
- Maintain Food Handlers permit
Job Qualifications

- Perform general housekeeping and sanitation in the department
- Ability to operate bakery equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Stand for up to 3 hours continuously and handle physically demanding tasks
- Adhere to safety, health, and weights and measures regulations and maintain a Food Handlers permit
Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
- Provide a high level of customer service ensuring bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment including cleaning shelves, floors, and removing hazardous debris
- Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining rotation and discarding outdated products
- Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality
- Answer phones and take special orders
- Perform general housekeeping and sanitation in the bakery department
