Job Requirements

  • be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
  • ability to work flexible schedule including night,weekends,and holidays
  • able to perform physical tasks including standing for up to 3 hours continuously,transferring trays up to 5 lbs vertically for up to 10 hours,and transferring items up to 40 lbs horizontally and vertically for up to 10 hours without mechanical assistance
  • adhere to all safety,health,and weights and measures regulations
  • maintain food handlers permit

  • maintain food handlers permit

Job Duties

  • assist bakery manager in preparing,baking,packaging,pricing,and merchandising all baked goods
  • provide a high level of customer service
  • ensure bakery items are properly prepared,packaged,and presented
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bakery area and equipment
  • stock,fill,face,and ensure pricing accuracy of bakery products
  • examine product rotation and discard outdated or spoiled items
  • receive,inspect,and log products for accuracy,temperature,and quality
