Job Requirements
- Must have less than high school education or equivalent experience
- Six months or less of similar or related work experience
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving lifting up to 50 pounds
- Capability to see clearly at various distances with or without correction
- Ability to perform activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- Must adhere to company policies on hygiene and dress
- Able to report to work on time and as scheduled
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment drug screen
- Must be able to carry out basic written or verbal instructions
- Competence in simple arithmetic tasks
- Able to communicate supply requests orally or in writing

Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by showing care, concern, and patience in all customer interactions
- Smile and greet customers warmly, both in the bakery and throughout the store
- Make an effort to learn and use customers' names
- Assist customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, and managing heavy items
- Review daily orders and product freshness regularly
- Take customer orders at the bakery counter
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain customer satisfaction and a positive work environment
- Follow proper sanitation procedures and keep the work area clean and organized
- Prepare, finish, and replenish bakery products as needed
- Manage bakery product inventory including pulling product from cooler or freezer and checking in deliveries
- Operate department registers and handle payments where applicable
- Remove trash promptly
- Maintain strict adherence to personal hygiene, dress, and company policies
- Report to work on schedule and on time
