Job Requirements
- Less than high school education or equivalent experience
- Six months or less of similar or related work experience
- Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
- Ability to do simple addition and subtraction
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Must be able to physically perform medium work including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, lift, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions
- Must maintain personal hygiene and dress standards
- Must adhere to company policies and store guidelines
- Must report to work on time
- Employment contingent on successful pre-employment drug screen

Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions
- Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- Make an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- Assist customers by escorting them to products, securing items out of reach, loading or unloading heavy items, passing along suggestions
- Review the status and appearance of food for freshness
- Review daily orders
- Take customer orders at the bakery counter
- Work with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction and pleasant work environment
- Practice proper sanitation and ensure work area is clean
- Ensure adequate food supply and follow production list
- Anticipate daily product needs
- Prepare, finish and replenish products
- Pull product from cooler/freezer for baking
- Check in and put away products, review invoices
- Run department registers and handle payments
- Remove trash timely
- Maintain personal hygiene and dress standards
- Adhere to company policies
- Report to work on time
- Wash dishes as necessary
- Order products and supplies
- Price products
- Deliver orders
- Assist other store areas as needed
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required
