Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess 1-2 years bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and work in a team
- Ability to answer phones and take special orders
- Perform general housekeeping including cleaning and sanitizing work areas
- Operate and use bakery equipment as needed
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift and transfer bakery items as required
- Adhere to all safety, health, and weights and measures regulations
- Maintain a Food Handlers permit

- Have 1-2 years bakery experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- Demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
- Possess good communication skills and ability to participate in a team environment
- Ability to answer phones and take special orders
- Able to operate bakery equipment including knives, scales, wrappers, and compactors
- Capable of standing for up to 3 hours continuously for an 8-hour shift
- Ability to lift and transfer bakery trays and items up to specified weights
- Hold and maintain a Food Handlers permit
- Adhere to safety, health, and weights and measures regulations
Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
- Provide high level customer service ensuring Bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment including cleaning shelves, floors, and removing hazardous debris
- Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while rotating bakery products and discarding outdated items
- Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality
- Operate bakery equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as needed
- Answer phones, take special orders, and perform general housekeeping in the department
