Job Requirements
- Less than high school education or equivalent experience
- Six months or less of related work experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to perform tasks requiring climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, grasping, feeling, talking, and hearing
- Ability to handle exposure to flour dust, cleaning chemicals, noise, and temperature extremes
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening
- Availability to work scheduled hours punctually
- Adherence to company hygiene and dress standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Job Qualifications

- Six months or less of related work experience
- Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
- Ability to perform simple addition and subtraction
- Ability to follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Ability to write identifying information and request supplies

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience
- Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- Makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading or unloading heavy items, passing customer suggestions
- Reviews the status and appearance of food for freshness
- Reviews orders for the day
- Takes customer orders at the bakery counter
- Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Practices proper sanitation procedures and maintains a clean work area
- Ensures adequate food supply is ready and follows a production list
- Anticipates product needs daily
- Prepares, finishes, and replenishes products as necessary
- Pulls product from cooler/freezer to prepare for baking
- Checks in product and may review invoices
- Runs department registers and handles payments
- Removes trash in a timely manner
- Maintains personal hygiene and dress standards
- Adheres to company policies and store guidelines
- Reports to work as scheduled and on time
- Washes dishes as necessary
- Orders product and supplies
- Prices products for customers
- Delivers orders as needed
- Assists other store areas
- Performs other job-related duties and projects as required
