Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment preferred
- Knowledge of baking techniques and food safety regulations
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, kneel, and stand or walk for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat, flour, and baking smells

Job Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting bakery items
- Provide information about products such as ingredients, flavors, and pricing
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally
- Prepare bakery items such as bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies according to recipes and guidelines
- Package and label bakery items appropriately
- Ensure freshness and quality of all bakery products
- Stock shelves and display cases
- Rotate products to ensure freshness
- Monitor inventory levels and inform management of low stock items
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including countertops, equipment, and display cases
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling practices are followed
- Collaborate with bakery team members to ensure efficient operation of the bakery
- Support colleagues during busy periods or special events
