Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- possess 1-2 years Bakery experience or acceptable combination of education and experience
- be dependable and reliable with flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior and positive attitude
- have good communication skills
- ability to take direction and work collaboratively in a team environment
- capable of answering phones and managing special orders
- perform general housekeeping and sanitation of department
- operate knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as needed
- physical ability to stand continuously for up to 3 hours per shift
- able to lift and transfer trays weighing up to 40 lbs within specified heights and distances without mechanical assistance
- adhere to all safety, health, and regulatory requirements
- maintain Food Handlers permit

- able to operate bakery equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, and pallet jacks
- able to stand for up to 3 hours continuously during an 8 hour shift
- able to lift and transfer bakery trays and products within specified weight and height limits
- comply with safety, health, and regulatory standards
- maintain a Food Handlers permit
Job Duties
- Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods
- provide high level of customer service while ensuring bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented
- maintain cleanliness and sanitize bakery area and equipment including shelves, floors, and work surfaces
- stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy of bakery products while rotating stock and discarding outdated or spoiled items
- receive, inspect, and log bakery products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality
- operate bakery equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, and hand trucks
- adhere to safety, health, and Food Handlers permit regulations
