Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years bakery experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Outgoing and friendly demeanor
- Good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and operate bakery equipment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and transfer trays and items of various weights
- Food Handler's permit
- Compliance with all safety and health regulations

- 1-2 years bakery experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Dependable and reliable with ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Outgoing and friendly behavior with positive attitude and ability to interact with customers
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to operate bakery equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Ability to perform general housekeeping and sanitation in the bakery department
- Ability to stand for long periods and safely handle trays and products of various weights and sizes
- Adherence to safety, health, and weight and measure regulations with food handler certification
Job Duties
- Prepare and package all baked goods including cookies, bread, and muffins
- Assist the Bakery Manager with baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising bakery products
- Provide high-quality customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared and presented
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation of bakery area and equipment including floors, shelves, and tools
- Stock, face, fill products and ensure pricing accuracy while monitoring product freshness and discarding spoiled goods
- Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments verifying accuracy, temperature, and quality
- Answer phones and take special orders with professionalism and accuracy
