Job Requirements
- Valid Food Handlers Card
- Ability to engage with customers in a friendly and service-oriented manner
- Basic knowledge or willingness to learn baking processes and equipment
- Capability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Ability to maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the bakery department
- Strong communication skills

- Customer service and retail experience desirable
Job Duties
- Greet and interact with customers to address questions or concerns in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Organize products in display case and tables while ensuring fully-stocked cases
- Support team with baking various breads, cookies, and desserts, including pan dulce
- Maintain standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, department conditions, and food safety
- Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while examining the rotation of all bakery products and discarding outdated or spoiled items
- Work with various professional bakery equipment, including heat sources, mixers, and blenders
- Take food orders in person and by telephone
- Perform all other duties as assigned
