Job Requirements
- Less than high school or equivalent experience
- six months or less of related work experience
- ability to carry out simple written or verbal instructions
- competency in basic math operations
- ability to understand and follow instructions
- capability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 50 pounds
- must be punctual and reliable
- willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- adherence to company hygiene and dress code policies

- basic math skills including addition and subtraction
- ability to deal with concrete variables

- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading or unloading heavy items, noting and passing along customer requests
- reviews food freshness and daily orders
- takes customer orders at bakery counter
- works as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- practices proper sanitation and maintains work area cleanliness
- prepares, finishes and replenishes bakery products
- pulls product from cooler/freezer for baking
- checks in and puts away product
- runs department registers where applicable
- removes trash promptly
- adheres to personal hygiene and dress guidelines
- reports to work on time and as scheduled
