Job Requirements
- Less than high school or equivalent experience
- Six months or less of similar or related work experience
- Ability to follow simple written or verbal instructions
- Ability to perform medium physical work with up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to perform activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- Visual requirements including clarity of vision, color vision, depth perception and field of vision
Job Qualifications

- Six months or less of related work experience
- Ability to follow detailed but simple written or verbal instructions
- Capability to do simple addition and subtraction
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions

Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience
- Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- Make an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- Assist customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading or unloading heavy products, passing along suggestions
- Review food freshness and daily orders
- Take customer orders at the bakery counter
- Work collaboratively with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction
- Practice proper sanitation procedures and maintain cleanliness
- Prepare, finish and replenish bakery products
- Pull product from cooler/freezer for baking
- Check in and put away product, review invoices
- Operate bakery registers and handle payments
- Remove trash in a timely manner
- Adhere to personal hygiene, dress codes, company policies and store guidelines
- Report to work on time as scheduled
