Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- three to six months of related bakery experience
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 100 pounds
- good vision including close and color vision
- ability to work under FDA and local health codes
- willingness to work collaboratively in a team
- positive "can-do" attitude
- strong communication skills

Job Duties
- Prepares bakery products according to Bakery Manager's directions and production schedule
- maintains product rotation to reduce shrink
- inspects and maintains Bakery Department products ensuring quality and sanitation by FDA and local health codes
- assists customers and suggests bakery products to establish relationships for repeat business
- controls costs by implementing portion control, accurate pricing, and signage
- follows safety work standards and reports hazards
- follows FIFO rotation system, covers, labels, and dates products
- assists in receiving, breaking down, and storing Bakery loads
- collaborates effectively with the team
