Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to move about non hard surfaces frequently
- Ability to bend, handle, pull, reach, push and stoop
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds frequently
- Ability to lift and move heavy and/or awkward objects greater than 30 pounds with assistance
- Ability to work in temperatures with frequent exposure to freezers, ovens, and coolers
- Willingness to work in an environment with exposure to cleaning agents
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling information
- Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays proper amounts according to production charts
- Maintains cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department
- Answers questions and recommends bakery items to members
- Takes special orders and decorates special order or case products
- Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments
- Rotates products following food safety and freshness policies
- Packages freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes
- Generates labels and price tickets and performs price checks
- Cleans and sanitizes bakery equipment and surfaces
- Operates bakery equipment in compliance with safety policies
- Maintains club policies and performs other duties as assigned
- Ensures regular and predictable attendance
