Job Duties
- Work neatly
- clean work area
- fold boxes/package bakery products
- perform basic bakery duties such as rolling out Rugalach, icing Black and White cookies, cake decorating
- place paper in pans
- flip cheesecake
- prep bakery ingredients
- maintain high standards of personal grooming including wearing proper uniform and any required protective gear
- comply with TooJay's safety and health regulations
- maintain friendly and warm demeanor
- maintain cleanliness of cases and work areas
- perform all end of shift functions
- be familiar with location and use of fire extinguishers
- attend meetings as required
- minimize waste and pilferage
- perform other duties as requested by management
- convey information and ideas clearly
- listen to and clarify issues with coworkers and manager
- adhere to company policies and procedures
- wash hands every 30 minutes during shifts
- work with cleaning and sanitizing equipment
- ability to stand for entire shift
- exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly
