Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds frequently
- Capability to move and bend frequently
- Willingness to work in temperature-varied environments such as freezers and ovens
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
- Experience in customer service or bakery environment preferred
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- Answer member calls and take special orders
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods following product handling information
- Use bakery production charts to guide production and display needs
- Package freshly baked goods such as cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes
- Unpack bakery goods from freezer and display proper amounts
- Decorate special order or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products according to food safety and freshness policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Check for and manage out-of-date products
- Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment and surfaces
- Operate bakery equipment safely
- Maintain club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties and assist other departments as needed
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
