Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to follow product handling information and safety protocols
- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- Ability to lift items up to 30 pounds frequently and heavier items with assistance
- Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments such as freezers and ovens
- Ability to maintain cleaning and sanitizing standards
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours and in other departments as needed
- Regular and predictable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods following product handling information using ovens and other equipment
- Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on bakery production charts
- Maintain cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, cakes, and other items
- Decorate special order or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products according to food safety and freshness policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Check for out-of-date products daily and follow salvage and stale product procedures
- Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods and perform price checks
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- Operate bakery equipment safely and according to protocols
- Deliver service excellence by answering member questions and handling special orders
- Maintain all club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
