Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous baking or food preparation experience preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift 20lb or more
- Willingness to work in cold environments such as freezers and coolers
- Ability to handle cash register transactions if applicable
- Strong focus on food safety and sanitation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in baking or food preparation preferred
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and handling cash transactions
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to operate bakery equipment safely
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions
- Physically able to perform duties including standing for long periods and lifting 20lb or more
Job Duties
- Prepare set up bake package and label pastries cookies breads sweet goods and other baked goods according to recipes and standards
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service including taking orders and answering questions in person and by phone
- Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently including ovens mixers slicers
- Stand for long periods of time
- Work in freezer and cooler environments
- Lift at least 20lb or more
- Follow food safety protocols hygiene and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Handle cash register transactions accurately if applicable
- Work as part of a team to meet production and service goals and take direction from management while being a self-starter
