Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous baking or food preparation experience preferred
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to lift 20lb or more
Willingness to work in cold environments such as freezers and coolers
Ability to handle cash register transactions if applicable
Strong focus on food safety and sanitation

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in baking or food preparation preferred
Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and handling cash transactions
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to operate bakery equipment safely
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions
Physically able to perform duties including standing for long periods and lifting 20lb or more

Job Duties

Prepare set up bake package and label pastries cookies breads sweet goods and other baked goods according to recipes and standards
Provide friendly and helpful customer service including taking orders and answering questions in person and by phone
Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently including ovens mixers slicers
Stand for long periods of time
Work in freezer and cooler environments
Lift at least 20lb or more
Follow food safety protocols hygiene and sanitation guidelines at all times
Handle cash register transactions accurately if applicable
Work as part of a team to meet production and service goals and take direction from management while being a self-starter
