Job Requirements
- must be 18 years of age
- authorization to work in the united states or the ability to obtain the same
- successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check

- ability to operate bakery equipment such as slicer, oven, scale, knives, box cutter and pricing gun according to company guidelines

Job Duties
- create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated that will increase customer confidence and loyalty
- deliver daily conditions that meet the company’s expectations for at shelf product availability, freshness, quality and value
- offer product samples, answer product questions and assist customers in finding or suggesting products
- ensure customer requests and special orders are fulfilled
- promote trust and respect among associates by collaborating, promoting teamwork, and communicating company, department, and job specific information
- adhere to all local, state, and federal laws, and company guidelines
- maintain an awareness of inventory and stocking conditions and report discrepancies
- review and inspect products for quality and freshness and take appropriate action
- prepare, package, label, and display products for sale
- utilize production planning tools to accurately produce fresh products and ensure discarding or markdown processes are followed to reduce shrink
- ensure product is held at the proper temperature per food safety guidelines and retain documentation
- ensure company standards for safety, proper food handling practices, sanitation and productivity are maintained
- adhere to regulatory compliance requirements pertaining to food safety, USDA, COOL, and DOA
- execute product recalls and withdrawals in a timely manner while ensuring all items are secured and removed from customer access
- comply with safety procedures, inspect and report unsafe conditions
- notify management of customer or employee accidents and report safety risks, illegal activity
- ensure adherence to wage and hour policies and cultivate a culture of safety
- ensure all associates receive necessary safety training and utilize personal protective equipment
- ensure equipment is in good repair and report safety hazards
