Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years of age
  • authorization to work in the united states or ability to obtain the same
  • successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
  • strong customer service skills
  • exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
  • ability to operate bakery equipment such as slicers, ovens, scales, and pricing guns according to company guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or ged preferred
  • 0-3 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • ability to operate bakery equipment such as slicers, ovens, scales, and pricing guns
  • strong customer service skills
  • exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
  • ability to work varied shifts
  • bilingual in english and spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • create a welcoming environment that increases customer confidence and loyalty
  • ensure product availability, freshness, quality, and value
  • offer product samples and assist customers with inquiries
  • fulfill customer requests and special orders
  • promote teamwork and communicate department information
  • adhere to local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
  • maintain inventory awareness and report discrepancies
  • inspect products for quality and freshness
  • prepare, package, label, and display products for sale
  • utilize production planning tools to manage product freshness and reduce shrink
  • adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain temperature logs
  • comply with safety and sanitation standards
  • execute product recalls and withdrawals
  • report unsafe conditions and accidents
  • enforce wage and hour policies
  • cultivate a culture of safety and ensure necessary safety training
  • ensure proper use of personal protective equipment
  • report and assist with remediation of safety hazards
  • operate bakery equipment according to company guidelines
