Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
- Ability to operate bakery equipment such as slicers, ovens, scales, knives, box cutters, and pricing guns according to company guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 0-3 years of relevant supervisory or bakery experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
- Ability to operate bakery equipment such as slicers, ovens, scales, knives, box cutters, and pricing guns according to company guidelines
- Ability to follow food safety, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive team environment
- Authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain the same

Job Duties
- Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and appreciated
- Deliver daily conditions that ensure product availability, freshness, quality, and value
- Offer product samples, answer product questions, and assist customers with finding or suggesting products
- Fulfill customer requests and special orders
- Promote teamwork, trust, and respect among associates by collaborating and communicating effectively
- Maintain awareness of inventory and stocking conditions and report discrepancies
- Review and inspect products for quality and freshness and take appropriate action
- Prepare, package, label, and display products for sale
- Use production planning tools to produce fresh products and manage discarding or markdown processes
- Ensure products are held at proper temperatures per food safety guidelines and retain documentation
- Adhere to company standards for safety, proper food handling practices, sanitation, and productivity
- Comply with regulatory requirements including USDA and COOL regulations
- Execute product recalls and withdrawals promptly and ensure items are secured and removed from customer access
- Reinforce safety programs and report unsafe conditions to management
- Notify management of accidents and report safety risks, illegal activities, or issues
- Ensure adherence to wage and hour policies and cultivate a culture of safety
- Ensure all associates have received necessary safety training and use personal protective equipment
- Report and assist with remediation of safety hazards such as equipment lockout/tag out
