Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • authorization to work in the United States or ability to obtain the same
  • successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
  • strong customer service skills
  • exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
  • ability to operate bakery equipment
  • ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 35 lbs
  • ability to occasionally lift or pull up to 250 lbs
  • ability to work varied shifts
  • adherence to safety procedures and food handling practices

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • strong customer service skills
  • exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to operate bakery equipment such as slicer, oven, scale, knives, box cutter, and pricing gun
  • must be at least 18 years old
  • authorization to work in the United States
  • successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
  • ability to work varied shifts
  • ability to perform physically demanding tasks

Job Duties

  • Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated
  • deliver daily conditions that meet product availability, freshness, quality, and value standards
  • offer product samples and answer product questions
  • ensure customer requests and special orders are fulfilled
  • promote teamwork and communicate company and department information
  • adhere to local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
  • maintain inventory awareness and report discrepancies
  • review and inspect products for quality and freshness
  • prepare, package, label, and display products for sale
  • utilize production planning tools to produce fresh products and reduce shrink
  • ensure proper food safety practices and temperature controls
  • execute product recalls and withdrawals promptly
  • comply with safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
  • notify management of accidents and report safety risks and illegal activities
  • ensure adherence to wage and hour policies
  • promote a culture of safety with proper training and equipment use
  • ensure equipment is in good repair and assist with safety hazard remediation
