Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting up to 30 pounds
- Ability to work in temperature-varied environments including freezers and ovens
- Ability to follow food safety and handling procedures
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Regular, predictable attendance required
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- Answer member calls and take special orders
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods using ovens and other equipment
- Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts per production charts
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, pastries, muffins, breads, pies, and cakes
- Decorate special order or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety and freshness policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Check all products for freshness and quality, removing out-of-date items
- Generate labels, price tickets, and perform price checks
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces
- Operate bakery equipment safely
- Maintain club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
