Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a commercial bakery, food production, or related manufacturing environment preferred
- ability to stand for extended durations during shifts
- ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds safely
- excellent attention to detail to ensure product quality
- commitment to following safety and sanitation guidelines rigorously
- strong communication skills to report issues and collaborate with team members
- willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings or weekends if required
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a commercial bakery, food production, or manufacturing environment preferred but not required
- ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
- ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Job Duties
- Operate and monitor bakery equipment in accordance with product specifications and production schedules
- monitor product quality throughout each stage of production to adhere to company standards
- retrieve and prepare items needed for production line use such as pans, bags, and boxes
- ensure racks and products are properly labeled throughout the production and packaging process to ensure proper tracking and identification
- assist with organizing and loading product racks into proofing, baking, or cooling areas for efficient workflow
- maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including performing daily sanitation duties and routine cleaning of equipment
- follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety standards, and personal safety regulations at all times
- communicate any equipment issues, product inconsistencies, or safety concerns to the shift lead or supervisor promptly
