Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain it
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
- Ability to operate bakery equipment such as slicer, oven, scale, knives, box cutter and pricing gun
- Ability to stand, walk and perform repetitive movements
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and pull up to 250 lbs
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions including indoor, outdoor, cold and humid
- Compliance with safety procedures and food handling practices
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 0-3 years of supervisory experience minimum
- Strong customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills
- Ability to operate bakery equipment according to company guidelines

Job Duties
- Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome, important and appreciated
- Deliver daily conditions that meet company expectations for product availability, freshness, quality and value at shelf
- Offer product samples and assist customers with product questions and suggestions
- Fulfill customer requests and special orders
- Promote trust and respect among associates by collaborating and communicating effectively
- Adhere to all local, state and federal laws and company guidelines
- Maintain inventory awareness, report discrepancies and inspect products for quality and freshness
- Prepare, package, label and display products for sale
- Use production planning tools to produce fresh products and follow discard and markdown processes
- Ensure products are held at proper temperatures according to food safety guidelines
- Execute all product recalls and withdrawals promptly
- Maintain compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- Report unsafe conditions and safety risks
- Notify management of accidents and illegal activities
- Ensure all associates have necessary safety training and personal protective equipment
- Report and assist with remediation of safety hazards
